The rules of Separate Balls are simple. Draw lines which seperate all the balls
from each. When a line is getting drawn, the balls are not allowed to hit it, otherwise you loose
one live. There are two types of lines which can be drawn, horizontal and vertical lines. By clicking
inside the top left corner one can choose between one or the other. The image inside the top left
corner corresponds with the type of line one will draw.
The player can click inside the field and move his or her finger to change the location where the line will be drawn. As soon as the finger is released from the touch screen the line will start to draw. As long as the line is drawing it will be red, so when the line is red no ball is allowed to hit it. If the line is finished drawing it will turn white. When the player has clicked inside the field but does not want to draw that type of line, he or she can move the line to the top left corner. As soon as the finger hits this corner, the line, which otherwise would have been drawn, disappears. The game can also be paused, this can be done by putting your finger on the top left corner and moving it to the middle of the screen and than releasing the finger from the screen. The game will be resumed when the player clicks on a random place on the screen. Every level you have a certain amount of lives, which will be shown during the start of the level. As soon as you don't have any lives, you will go back one level (unless you still in level 1). Settings: - Sounds: This is a function which we are testing at the moment. It works quite well. - Colliding balls: When enabled (default) the balls will hit each other which will change their paths. It can also be disabled which makes the game harder. The game will be reset to level 1 when this option is changed, to prevent cheating. - Debugging: With this option enabled the frames per second (fps) will be shown in the top right corner. - Touch history: When enabled, the history of your movement is taken into account. This will make the line, which shows where the line will be drawn when you release your finger, move smoother. - Reset levels: Just as it says, it will reset the game and will bring you back to level 1 with all your lives again.
